PORTFOLIO SITE and RAMBLINGS OF HENRY ROTERING

Henry is a New Orleans-based graphic designer who loves clean design, valid code and strong coffee. A proud native of the Midwest—Henry previously afforded rent and candy working as the in-house designer for the Greater Madison Convention and Visitors Bureau. He also worked as a freelance graphic designer, played drums for a punk band, but spent most of his time planning his escape to New Orleans.

Henry is currently a senior designer at Imaginal Marketing Group—a small marketing firm specializing in Aveda Salons and Spas. Other than the obvious hobby of sitting in front of a computer for inappropriate lengths of time—Henry also enjoys: biking, drumming, travel, screen printing, the New Orleans heat and shooting darts.


A few new projects

March 31st, 2010

I’ll be finishing up a logo design for Joe Prisco this week. Joe is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ based out of Covington, LA and a great guy. He specializes in Individual/Family Investment Management, Institutional Financial Management and Employee Benefits. After that we will be working on all of his business collateral including his outdoor signage and website. I am most excited for his website as it will be a good challenge for a one page site with wordpress being used as the CMS. All this in about a month… I’m returning to my workaholic ways.

New Website Design!

Website re-design is complete! Spent the last week working on this little ditty. A much needed upgrade from the previous design. Description of design and some new work will be posted in the next week. I should also be able to design a theme for this blog by the next week (or two.) We’ll see about that.

Blog is up. Not running.

I’ve  found the time to code all this stuff. But have yet stylized the new blog at all. As soon as that business is taken care of I’ll start writing about all sorts of obnoxiois topics like The Milwaukee Brewers and Valid HTML.
